Stress, Yoga and Awareness

We’ve all heard so much about stress, yet it remains a mystery like the weather. Depending on the amount of stress, it can have a positive or negative effect on the body, mind and emotions. Our reactions to stress can create an energy gain or drain and it may be beneficial depending on its short and long term effects. A certain amount of stress is necessary to survive and thrive. An optimal amount gives us the energy to be healthy, productive, active and evolving people. But too much stress drains and slows us down.

When it becomes overwhelming, one of the most obvious places to look for relief is at its source. You. There are a lot of people out there looking for solutions to the stress of being alone, not having much fun in life, little abundance, a fear of safety and security.

What if you discovered that you’re never alone? You are always connected to the Infinite Universe through Awareness in your heart and mind.

What if all you needed to do to release your stress was to become more Aware? And what if all the abundance, safety and security you could ever want came from inside you! How can it get any better than that? And it could possibly be available to everyone, including you. Now you might say, “I want to feel good on a regular basis”. And then you might ask, “What do I have to do to feel better?”

You may not know all of that has to do with your awareness, behavior patterns and belief systems. Changing your belief system is not always easy, but it is possible to do. We can change our belief systems enough to take on new actions and do some inner work that could lead us to the results we are longing for. Where would you start? In your own living room is a possible place. You could begin by sitting quietly for 5 to 10 minutes each day. If that works for you, you could increase that to 5, 10 and even 20 minutes twice a day eventually, morning and night. The more aware and energized you become, the more you receive answers from your heart and mind about how to feel better and live more fully!
